EES – THE EQUATION SOLVER FOR ENGINEERS

EES (pronounced 'ease') is an acronym for Engineering Equation Solver. The basic function provided by EES is the numerical solution of a set of algebraic equations. Five features sets EES apart from other equation solving software:

• Large data base of thermal material and transmission attributes of all common working fluids which significantly simplifies thermodynamic, heat and mass transfer, and fluid mechanics problem-solving
• Compiled functions and procedures, written in a high-level language such as Pascal, C, or FORTRAN, can be dynamically-linked with EES
• Equations can be entered in any order with unknown variables placed anywhere in the equations
• Automatic optimization of the solution process
