The Brearley School in New York City by KPMB Architects is among the this year’s winners of the 2022 Governor General’s Medals in Architecture by Canadian Architects.
They say: "Brearley was one of the few private schools in New York City to remain open and functional during the pandemic. 800 people attended daily and stayed healthy. The well proportioned classrooms, fresh air, efficient filtration systems, operable windows, wide hallways, and interconnecting stairs facilitated COVID 19 protocols."
