Transsolar Managing Partner Erik Olsen has been elected as a new member of the Board of Directors of New York Passive House Inc. (NYPH), the pioneering Passive House trade organization in North America.
Founded in 2010, NYPH is dedicated to advancing a regenerative, healthy, and resilient built environment in New York and beyond, with a strong focus on the adoption and evolution of Passive House building science.
Erik brings a powerful combination of deep technical expertise and creative problem-solving to the board. His work translates Passive House and climate-responsive design principles into elegant, human-centered architecture, bridging rigorous performance goals with design excellence.
Through his leadership on the board, Erik will support NYPH’s continued role at the forefront of climate engineering, innovation, and education, helping to accelerate the transformation toward a low-carbon built environment.
