Tommaso Bitossi will represent Transsolar at the facades+ Symposium on February 20th in Washington, D.C. Together with UC Berkeley’s Center for the Built Environment he will participate in a discussion-led panel focused on their sustainability process and materials research.
Background is the Clean Energy Act DC passed in January 2019 by Washington D.C.’s city council, an ambitious piece of legislation enacting strict building performance energy standards by 2021. Complying with the new standard will require innovative facade solutions as well as the application of high-performing materials.
