Transsolar NY and 1014 hosted Archtober Workshop

During Archtober, New York City's Architecture and Design Month filled with fun events around the city, Transsolar together with 1014 hosted the “Apartment Hacks for Climate Action” workshop in our office. The evening was filled with interesting, open discussions and great conversations. We thoroughly enjoyed hosting all participants and learning from each other.

Clare Miflin from The Center for Zero Waste Design shared her knowledge on how we can reduce food waste. Did you know, “reducing food waste is the most important waste-related climate action you can undertake? “ The Transsolar team introduced some of the hacks we implement in our own homes and our office- our natural ventilation window units and our system for managing compost, for example.
