The CaGBC Greater Toronto Chapter seeks to lead and accelerate the transformation to high-performing, healthy green buildings, homes and communities throughout Toronto and is hosting the Emerging Green Professionals annual Speakers Series on March 1st, 2018.
Krista Palen from our New York office will be sharing insights and experiences on design and building solutions that boost the “green” characteristics of building through two in-depth case studies. This is a great opportunity to learn how passive design and climate engineering strategies are applied to reduce the impact buildings have on the natural environment while improving conditions for occupants.
Krista brings to the Transsolar New York team a passion for design at the intersection of architecture, engineering, computation, and ecology. Her expertise in passive design includes daylight modelling, thermal simulation and natural ventilation design.
Her project Zaryadye Park with Diller Scofidio + Renfro recently won Building of the Year award in the category of Public Architecture on ArchDaily.
