Berlin Tempelhof G2 Study

Component "G2" is one of the administrative buildings at Tempelhof Airport. The feasibility study for envelope refurbishment and life cycle assessment prototypically investigates potential refurbishment scenarios for enhancing the energy performance of the building envelope.

Component G2 serves as an example for a large portion of the structural fabric of the airport's administrative buildings. The results of this study are intended to serve as a basis for the refurbishment of these buildings and to identify reduction potentials for greenhouse gas emissions.

The goal is a particularly resource-efficient refurbishment that minimizes CO2 emissions with as little technical equipment as possible.
