The project represents a complex of buildings comprising a velodrome, a swimming pool, a multipurpose hall and its own energy center.
Transsolar developed a future-oriented concept which provides good comfort for visitors and athletes, with efficient energy supply using renewable energies and strategies such as targeted use of solar energy and daylight, optimized building envelopes, waste heat usage and heat recovery. This allows the complex to operate cost-effectively and environmentally friendly.
